The Eta 2000 Dust Collector is a new generation Pulse
Jet Fabric Collector designed for heavy industry to last well into the 21st
century. The Eta 2000 Collector features welded construction, a low
maintenance design and exacting tube sheet hole tolerance that provides a
positive bag seal and guaranteed performance*.

Fabric Filtering System
The Tube Sheet is full 3/16" thick, HRS
plate welded to the collector housing, with a punched hole tolerance to
provide a positive, trouble-free seal for the 6" diameter filter bag.
The Eta 2000 six inch diameter fabric
filter bag attachment features "snap-ring" installation, which requires
no tools. This fast one-man, two step process allows bags and
cages to be installed from the CLEAN SIDE of the collector. This
simple installation procedure creates the only seal necessary,
eliminating the need for any additional seals or gaskets. The Eta 2000
offers a complete range of high-quality fabrics in all popular synthetic
fibers, including high temperature fabrics.
The Eta 2000 venturi and cage assembly,
designed to conserve compressed air, is of heavy-duty, welded
construction and permits installation without tools. The high-gain
venturi throat of the Eta 2000 is fabricated from spun steel and is
capable of cleaning more surface area of filter media with less
compressed air. This provides effective cleaning of the 6 inch
diameter bags for lengths up to 14 feet long with the collector on line.
The Eta 2000 Cage is constructed from
heavy-gauge, carbon steel wire to provide maximum support. It can
be installed without tools. The assembly is self-aligning when
placed into the bag, and is supplied with a metal ring that protects the
top edge of the filter bag when the cage is installed. Galvanized,
stainless steel, or corrosion-resistant coating are available for
special applications.

On-line Cleaning
System
The Eta 2000 pulse control board is a
printed circuit timer board designed to control the pulse cleaning
sequence. It has proven to be both trouble-free and reliable.
The board and a photohelic differential pressure switch are mounted in a
NEMA 4 panel located on the pulse service platform.
The Eta 2000 standard pulse valve is a double-diaphragm valve fitted
to the square compressed air manifolds. This pulse valve is designed
to work with the pulse pipe and cage venturi to provide maximum cleaning efficiency for up
to 17 bags per row. The basic design of the ETA 2000 standard
pulse
valve eliminates the need for remotely operated pilot valves and
maintenance problems that are associated with them.
The standard Eta 2000 1-1/2 inch diameter pulse pipe has jig-drilled blow
holes for a positive alignment over the center of the cage venturi to provide
maximum efficiency, eliminating the possibility of misalignment.
For bag inspection and/or removal, the pulse pipes can be removed with
minimal effort and with no special tools.
The Eta 2000 pulse manifold is made up of heavy wall square tubing.
Each manifold serves no more than 10 pulse valves, thus permitting isolation
for maintenance without shutting down the total system. The
segmented manifold design provides for rapid "replenishment" of
air
pressure following a cleaning pulse. The system is designed to operate at 90 PSI, however
each manifold is shop-tested to 150 PSI. |
